We Need Air Pollution To Stop Global Warming

I know that this is going to sound very bad to say. But the truth is, the do gooders are destroying planet earth. Shocking as it may sound, pollution was really good for us. When we had pollution it put a sort of safety smoke screen from the suns rays around the globe. This was good, because it protected us from the suns ultra violet rays. Perhaps some sun bathers that foresaked their leather type skin from the suns rays may have protested the pollution. But now even sensible sun bathers are at a greater risk of catching skin cancer at the beach, thanks to all those clever people that thought they were saving planet earth.
The planet has been around for a long time, and it has gotten along very well thank you, without our tinkering. So lets all stop worrying and go back to enjoying life again and put the planet back in Gods hands again. So, please, lets all send a pink slip to all those so called do gooders that are really destroying the planet.
Even long before the pollution of the industrial revolution, nature was protecting the earth with continual forest fires caused by lightning. These fires created a smoke cloud and kept the sun and its rays in check. As mankind got more adept at putting out forest fires, our industrial air pollution replaced what nature was doing, and it was working.
But the irony here, is that the people that thought they were saving the earth by cleaning up the pollution, were really doing just the opposite and were pushing the earth ever faster into global warming because the pollution they got rid of, was no longer available to block the suns rays. So as a result, global warming accerated beyond anyones expectations.
I know it sounds kind of weird to say that pollution is the best way to stop global warming, but its the truth. If it weren't true, than the massive forest fires that took place on earth for millions of years would have already destroyed the planet. This is really a no-brainer. We need some kind of pollution cloud to shield the earth from the suns rays. Why can't the scientist's figure out something that is so simple to understand.

But what you say is true, the smog in LA does shield it from Global Warming. But I think we're just seeing the effects of all that pollution from years past. Imagine if we kept up the same pace of polluting the planet from then till now?

This smokescreen you are talking about actually does not protect us from the sun's rays, the rays come in but few of them leave. It doesn't allow the rays to reflect back into space, trapping them into the earths atmosphere. This is causing the polar ice caps to melt and changing the temperature of the ocean and corrupting the natural flow of the environment. The Pollution in the air is causing the earth to get warmer and warmer due to the lack of the sun's rays being released

It was very interesting to read a different perspective for once. Everybody seems to be against the whole polluting the planet thing. I just have one thing to say. Yes, the lightning that caused bush fires for so many years added to the atmosphere - but this would have been insignificant to the amount of trees in the world at that time. Correct me if I am wrong, but our fossil fuel plants seem to be spewing out more dangerous gasses like Sulfur Dioxide than the Carbon Dioxide that results from bush fires. I doubt that nature would benefit from the Sulfur Dioxide levels in the atmosphere that have been on the increase since our industry has 'advanced'. I suggest that you back up your arguement with more evidence if you are going to write an article that goes against the majority of people who beleive air pollution is bad. In no way do I say that your arguement is wrong, I just think it would be stronger if you accept the arguements and make your own rebuttal to them.
30 years ago temperatures were still as hot as they are today.....Global Warming..??? Dont think so...
too bad it's been proven there's a steady rise in global temperatures as time goes on.... this article seemed to lack any evidence whatsoever.
